Where the heck did you come up with the name Cluge

The origin of the word Cluge comes from the name Cluj. Cluj is a Romanian judet (district) where Vampires where first recorded as being sighted. I merely adapted the name of the district using a French spelling. The word is pronounced Kloooj (rymes with luge).

Many years ago in a place far, far, away - I used to play Dungeons & Dragons. In college I continued to occasionally enjoy RPGs, and enjoyed a game called Vampire the Masquerade. My character in that game was Cluge - and I've used the nic online ever since. One of the unfortuante side affects of playing such games is that there seems to be a hard core group of people unable to seperate game playing from real life, or fantasy from reality. The other side of the coin is another group of people that don't believe in rpg games, or think that everyone that would engage in such a game is somehow perverted. These people love to e-mail you. Thus I've recieved e-mails from people claiming to be vampires, and other people telling me I'm going to hell for drinking other peoples blood. Shoot - I haven't played in almost a decade and I still recieve e-mail. It is indeed perplexing, but I think I have a solution.

If your going to send me an e-mail

  • 1. - Put the crack pipe down! [This is very important]
  • 2. - Do you know that "Vampire the Masquerade" is a game? If you do, then you may wish to go back and play more splinter cell before telling me how lame RPG's are.
  • 3. - Stop drinking, I know that it helps you stop shaking because the crack pipe is down, but trust me on this one.
  • 4. - Ask yourself - do you want your e-mail to be published in this space?
Thats right folks, the most bizzare, twisted and hilarious e-mails that I have receieved will start to show up right here. STAY TUNED!
